Grants for Doctoral Students at The Basque Institute of Competitiveness
Competitiveness is central to the analysis and debate about the competitiveness of the region. The company was founded in 2006 by the University of Deusto Deusto Foundation as a convergence of strategic initiatives in both the private and public nature. Through the investigation of excellence, specialized instruction programs and constant interaction with the economic actors (local government, local and national, European Union, companies, technology centers, business organizations, associations cluster, etc.)
The orchestra aims to strengthen economic competitiveness and the Basque community, both of Wich immersed in the dynamics that go beyond the regional level, but remain ever aware of the need to promote sustainable development. With offices in the University of Deusto, Donostia and Bilbao the Campus, the institute has an extensive network of collaborators, with the major role played by the Basque Government (through the regional development agency, Spri), the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Euskaltel, Kutxa and Repsol-Petronor.Additionally, Institute has the support of the Boston Consulting Group, the Basque the Ente Vasco de Energia (EVE) (Basque Energy organization), Gamesa and Iberdrola, in the Department of Energy.
Orchestra-Basque Institute of Competitiveness (University of Deusto) offers grants for:
- Students who want to do a Ph.D. research in a doctoral program offered by the Basque Institute of Competitiveness and the University of Deusto.
- Postgraduate students at other institutions whose research focus is one of the topics mentioned below and who want to do a fellowship in the Basque Institute of Competitiveness, while continuing their studies.
Scholarship candidates must have skill in English language (excellent) and Spanish (basic)
